The Best Western Dockside has over 100 rooms and a large and busy hot breakfast buffet. Mackinaw City is a small town, but a busy tourist destination during the summer months. We are a lake front community – sitting right at the Straits of Mackinac where 2 of Michigan’s Great Lakes meet. Mackinaw City is a top tourist destination for many reasons. We are home to the historic Fort Michilimackinac. Historic and unique Mackinac Island is a short ferry ride away. Mackinaw City has events happening every weekend throughout the summer from parades to car shows and live music and other festivals. Breakfast Attendant: THIS IS A MORNING POSITION! Primary responsibilities include setting up, monitoring, restocking and breaking down the breakfast buffet area, as well as cleaning up the area and resetting the dining room once breakfast is over. Specific Responsibilities will include: • monitoring the morning breakfast buffet area to keep all food, plates and silver wear fully stocked. • restocking food on the buffet as necessary • interact with customers and welcome them • clear dishes from tables when done and wipe down tables. • Dining room cleaning, sweeping, mopping and taking out trash will be expected. • Breaking down the breakfast buffet after breakfast and making sure the dining room is clean.
